The La Porte Civic Auditorium does not have air conditioning so please keep that in mind when choosing your clothing. Sometimes a September evening can be warm. The audience of Hoosier STAR will include people in a variety of attire depending on where they are sitting. The table seating rows that are closest to the stage will have patrons in black tie, business suits, festive eveningwear or cocktail dresses, while the audience members enjoying the show from the balcony may wear casual dress such as khakis, a summer dress or simple casual clothing, which is appropriate for an evening out. Families are welcome to bring children for this entertaining evening. Youth balcony tickets are $5 for persons who are 17 years of age and younger.
